Scholarship Winners Announced
Arizona Federal congratulates this year’s winners of the Bob Bresnahan Scholarship Award:
- Jonathan Arnold of Deer Valley High School
- Eileen Honey of Deer Valley High School
- Jennifer Merrill of Glendale High School
- Christina Saucedo of Westwood High School
Since 1992, Arizona Federal has awarded the Bob Bresnahan Memorial Scholarship to deserving high school seniors who are Arizona Federal members. Each winner will receive $1,000 to be used for education expenses at an Arizona college or university.
This scholarship was established to honor long-time Arizona Federal board member and City of Mesa employee Bob Bresnahan, who passed away in 1991.

On Thursday, May 19, Rodney “Darell” Harrison (left) and Suhaylah Shamsid-Deen (center) were presented the annual Michael Hale scholarship on behalf of 100 Black Men of Phoenix’s Mentor Education Network and Arizona Federal. This $2,000 scholarship is awarded in recognition of contributions made by Mr. Hale, Arizona Federal’s former president and CEO.
