Free Education Seminars in July
Get out of debt, buy your first home or solve the mystery of credit reports.
Three free member education seminars will be held this quarter presented by BALANCE:
- Solving the Mystery of Credit Reports (presented in Spanish)
Tuesday, July 26; 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
This seminar provides an overview of credit bureaus and credit scoring, as well as guidance on disputing inaccuracies and improving credit scores. To register in Spanish, call (602) 683-1396.
- First Time Home Buyer
Wednesday, July 27; 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
This workshop covers budgeting, determining how much house is affordable and saving for down payment, as well as the mortgage lending process.
- Plastic Surgery: Get Out of Debt
Thursday, July 28; 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
This seminar examines the wise use of credit, warning signs of credit trouble and the options available for getting out of debt and reconstructing existing credit to its greatest advantage.
