Is that Leslie Nielsen in my credit union’s TV commercial?
Best known for his slightly “thick” characters in Airplane and the series of Naked Gun movies, Leslie’s latest comedic endeavor involved learning how easy it is to use Arizona Federal’s Visa® check card, apply for a Home Equity Line or use Online Banking.
If you’ve watched any TV lately, you may have recognized
a familiar face beside a familiar logo. Arizona Federal has partnered
with Valley resident and comedic actor Leslie Nielsen to bring you
three new commercials.
With his trademark white hair and characteristic voice, Mr. Nielsen
was an ideal candidate to spread the word about how easy it is to
open an account, get a loan or bank online at Arizona Federal.
“Leslie was the perfect choice in portraying our easy-to-use products and services,” said Steve Kelley, vice president of marketing. “With his well-developed persona as one for whom things are always hard, he should convey that if it’s easy for him at Arizona Federal, it’s easy for everybody.”
When Leslie bumbles through grocery shopping, online banking or the Home Equity Line loan process, you’ll laugh with us as he finally figures it out in the end.
